Stradun - first night spot

Almost everybody start their evening with taking a walk along the Stradun and finding a spot in one of the Stradun’s sideway bars, while often being entertained by open-air concerts performed by brass bands and majorettes, and in the typically unique Dalmatian manner, by vocal ensembles.

Famous Troubadur Jazz café, placed in one of the Stradun’s narrow streets, is a frequent place all day long and open until late in the night. It is a friendly and relaxed place where you can toss back a brew and soak up a unique ambiance. Here you won’t miss listening jazz music as well seeing some of the celebrities that are common Dubrovnik visitors.

Talir bar is one of the most popular bar in actors circuit (during the Dubrovnik Summer Festival). Here you can enjoy your lazy afternoons but its also fun to spent an evening on the Talir terrace – a 'narrow’ street' staircase that exit on Stradun.

Café Festival. One of the nicest places to chill and enjoy a cocktail on Stradun (near the Franciscan Monastery).

La Boheme bar set in an old castle is a place where you can enjoy in a cozy atmosphere in its beautiful garden having a cocktail.

Buža bar, meaning "hole in the wall", suits boozers, swimmers and sunbathers alike. Bar is ‘hanging’ on a cliff leaned against the City Wall and it’s reached trough the hole in it. It's the bar for sunset-watching. From the terrace there are steps leading to the beach where you can swim off a rock by the sea.

Hemingway (Pred Dvoram) is a cocktail bar with comfy chairs facing the pedestrian street and 30-page cocktail menu.

Dubrovnik also has its Irish pub - Karaka pub in Od Polaca street.

Fuego Latino club (Brsalje 11, near Pile Gate, just outside the old town) is one of the popular nightclubs in town, it's also the busiest one. During season it is open every day. Many events, different vibe every night, cool interior, friendly staff, affordable prices and good music are its best reference. Club is open 22-04h and equally popular among fun young locals and tourists, a good place to meet other backpackers.

Eastwest Beach Club is situated on the beach in front of famous Banje beach just east of the old town, below the 16th-century Lazareti complex that once quarantined city visitors for 40 days.  Chill out music and famous stars - and no wonder this place is pretty crowded in the summer months.

Labirint. The latest addition to Dubrovnik's night scene is the super-slick center Labirint (Sv Domenika 2) with a casino, restaurant, disco and nightclub. Dress up.

Lazareti club is a place for progressive, techno & house music. Regular events with resident and international DJ's.
