Šunj is a beautiful long sandy beach, you could say a place for real summer getaway, located in the Lopud's Bay of Šunj. This bay is very rounded, sheltered with pine trees and agaves and overlooked by the Church of our Lady of Šunj.

This beach is an exceptional place where everyone can find something for them selves, jet it isn’t flooded with to many amenities that large and popular beaches such as one are usually offering. It is best place for all up to knee water sport activities, especially Picigin (Dalmatian favorite summer sport) thus the water gets deeper very slowly.

Lopud in general is also ideal place for snorkeling and kayaking – you should test your spirit of adventure by exploring the Island.

There is also a FKK section in the second part of the beach.

Šunj is located on the other side of the Island from the village Lopud, connected with the footpath that goes trough a beautiful valley.
