Lapad area. Several beautiful beaches are located in the Lapad area, which is considered as one of the most beautiful parts of Dubrovnik. Some of these beaches are long populist concrete/rocky beaches equipped with all the necessary amenities. The rest of them are hotel beaches that are partly open to public; Adriatic, Vis, Splendid, Libertas, Bellevue, Neptun.

For those who like playing beach volleyball or tennis there are many courts in Lapad on which these sports can be played. 

Lapad beach

Lapad beach is the largest beach in Dubrovnik, positioned very close to Lapad walking zone in the near vicinity of several hotels, many bars and restaurants, tennis courts, children’s playgrounds and car-free areas.

This, mostly rocky/concrete long beach, is equipped with showers, changing cabins, sun umbrellas and deck chairs. Just imagine the variety of Lopud’s beach offer. When it comes to summer sports & fun activities, it is more than a wide one; jet sky, banana ride, canoes, pedaling rentals and “everything else you can think of” rentals, bars, restaurants etc.

Neptun beach

Neptun beach is a long terrace looking and very much of classic hotel beach, where you can enjoy lazy laying and sunbathing on a hotel deck chair drinking refreshments from a nearby bar.

This long stretched beach, apart of all the amenities that comes with a hotel, offers you peace and quiet, especially if you wish to find your own isolated spot - not to mention that the view is spectacular; Elafiti Islands, Sumartin bay and the open sea.
 

Adriatic – small, romantic, concrete made of beach.

Vis- small, interesting, rocky/pebble beach with a bar and restaurant.

Splendid – small, pebbly beach surrounded by cliffs, not crowded.
