Buža beach.
In Croatian Buža
means “Hole”
alluding at the
passage trough the City walls. Small Door of St. Stjepan in the
walls brings you to Buža beach; chic rocky beach that falls down
from the ancient City Walls, blest with a miraculous view.
Simply exotic beach bar offering refreshments is placed on those
stormy slopes. Exotic has another meaning when talking about this
very place; there’re no palm trees leaning over this funky bar, but
9
century old defense walls. Imagine the variety of experiences one
can face here depending on the daytime, whether it is a sun rise or
sun down this place is bathed with.
It is
easily
reached by using any of the streets behind the Dubrovnik Cathedral. |
