Bellevue beach occupies small and lovely bay called Miramar bay, settled in front the Bellevue Hotel.

This pebble and sandy beach is most pleasurable during the mornings when is sunny. Surrounded with cliffs, it becomes overshadowed in the afternoon. Nevertheless the place is enjoyable and suitable for kids. Food and refreshments offered in a spacey and attractive terrace restaurant bar placed on the beach is its huge preference.

This beach is very popular thus Dubrovnik's waterpolo "Divlja Liga" (Wild League) games are played there. A traditional amateur league played by teams, each representing one of Dubrovnik beaches. These games are always very interesting and even funny. There are lots of supporters on stands cheering for their beach and atmosphere is better then on official waterpolo games.
